Green Kitchen Lab
The ‘Green Kitchen Lab’ welcomes its guests in a modern and stylish atmosphere that is very different from conventional canteens. Contemporary furnishings in fresh colours create a pleasant environment that invites you to linger and enjoy. The new catering facility at Irchel not only focuses on innovation in its furnishings, but also in its food. The culinary offering is based primarily on seasonal, regional and, as far as possible, natural food from plant sources.

Price Adjustment as of 17 February 2025
The Green Kitchen Lab, which opened a year ago, has been very popular. To test the concept, an attractive pricing level was set at the beginning. The initial phase provided valuable insights but also revealed that maintaining quality at this price point is challenging, as the menus require a labor-intensive preparation process.
Therefore, prices will be adjusted as of 17 February 17 2025: Students will pay CHF 8.90, staff CHF 11.-, and external guests CHF 17.50. We are confident that this adjustment will help maintain quality and ensure that the Green Kitchen Lab remains a valuable addition to UZH gastronomy in the long term.
