Opening of BIM11
On 14 September 2026, the ZFV Cooperative opened BIM11, a new dining facility on the Oerlikon campus.
The opening was a great success. In addition to engaging speeches on the history of the Oerlikon campus and the positive impact of UZH on the development of the neighbourhood, ZFV delighted guests with a selection of culinary specialties from its kitchen.
The venue combines a range of offerings, from lunch service and a coffee bar to an evening bar. At the heart of the concept is a predominantly plant-based menu, complemented by a carefully selected range of animal-based products.
UZH Oerlikon BIM is a place designed for everyday university life: a space for breaks, shared meals, and meaningful exchange. At the same time, it is part of an inclusive working environment in which people with diverse backgrounds and abilities work together.
This creates a welcoming place for connection and community. Open to UZH staff, students, and guests alike, we look forward to seeing you there.
