Closed due to renovations
Due to the floor renovation, the untere and obere canteens will be temporarily closed from July 1, 2025.
As a temporary solution, we will be offering the Garden and Butcher menu lines in the atrium from June 30, 2025 - each from 11.00 am to 2.30 pm. The Lichthof will be open daily from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Dinner will not be served during this time.
From August 11, 2025, the lower canteen will be open again as usual (10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.).

The Obere Mensa at the University of Zurich's Campus Zentrum complements the Untere Mensa and offers a wide range of lunch options with vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes. In addition, the Obere Mensa offers the ‘Voll Anderst’ menu for real gourmets. Like the Untere Mensa, the Obere Mensa also has an open and modern design, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. A new addition is the coffee service, which makes the canteen an attractive meeting place for students and staff.
