ViCAFE Irchel & Zentrum

Through the co-operation with ViCAFE ​​​​​​​we offer our guests at Irchel University and the University Centre a special coffee experience. 

The serviced espresso bars have been located in the former Café Complet at Irchel University since October 2022 and in the Rondell Café in the Lichthof Zentrum at the University Centre from April 2023.  

The young Zurich brand stands for high-quality coffee from sustainable production and courteous customer service. The beans are sourced from coffee farmers that ViCAFE knows personally. ViCAFE pays the coffee farmers fair and stable prices for their beans, which are well above the average global coffee price and the farmers are therefore less exposed to volatile price developments. The beans are roasted fresh and locally every day in ViCAFE's own roasting plant in Zurich-Altstetten and the coffee is prepared by professionally trained baristas. The organic milk is sourced from a local farm dairy in Uster, and organic pastries from our own bakery are available to satisfy small appetites. At UZH, favourable campus prices apply.
